Broken Heart FriendShip

Breeze flows by Whispering words into my ear Numbness grips my soul and the Scarry heart skips a beat The Sun setting down the prairies Signals the end When will you come back to me I am shattered and broken The Flowers have died my tears have dried These wounds will never heal unless you touch me Even in a stone Lies a heart Soft enough to pardon Believe me my love, I am shattered and Broken

Let me be the bandage for your bleeding Let me be the ocean for your tears. Let me be the secret of your healing Let me bethe song to still your fears. love that cannot love in darkness, Nor is it love that turns away from pain Nor would I love would I not hold your sadness And with my love your love of life sustain. So do not think your malady a burden, And do not think my willingness deceit. Just let your sorrow flow into my garden, And I will share with you the harvest sweet.

I will never forget the days we once had The days when you were everything to me My mind used to tell me we'd be together forever But now I realize that was all a big dream The feelings I have for you will never go I wish I could take back that one regretful day The day when I willingly let you slide from my arms Never did I think of the astonishing pain of regrets That I would once have to live through The sight of you in someone else's arms Makes my heart shatter into a million pieces I sometimes wonder if you still think of me Or if to you, I'm just a face in the crowd I wish so very much that one day we can have it all back But for now, I'll sit here silently Remembering all the memories we once shared Everyday my love grows much stronger Hoping that one day you will feel the same And put back the pieces of my broken heart.

Friendship is a Golden Chain, The links are friends so dear, And like a rare and precious jewel It's treasured more each year... It's clasped together firmly With a love that's deep and true, And it's rich with happy memories and fond recollections, too... Time can't destroy its beauty For, as long as memory lives, Years can't erase the pleasure That the joy of friendship gives... For friendship is a priceless gift That can't be bought or sold, But to have an understanding friend Is worth far more than gold... And the Golden Chain of Friendship Is a strong and blessed tie Binding kindred hearts together As the years go passing by.

Weading BirthDay

A wedding is the entrance to a marriage: One drives through, and suddenly one's there! Stepping from a fairy tale carriage Into quite ordinary air. Life is now a dance, though beautiful, Requiring intense coordination; Each self becomes, in ways inscrutable, More fully what it is in combination. And we who love you wait, of course, outside As you become through love that mystery: One flesh made whole of separate groom and bride; Two selves, one life; two notes, one harmony. When you are one, we then may cherish two: Loving not just one, but both of you.

Another birthday of mine has passed by, and try as I might, I can't find a lady who knows that vision is more than sight. For some women I'm too poor, and for the others too old, It does not seem to matter that I have a heart of gold. My birthdays keep reminding me that I feel somewhat cursed, My outlook would improve if they'd just try to know me first. I have so much to offer, if only someone would look, Preconceived judgments are made, and women just close the book. I listen to women complaining that chivalry is dead, That can't see a gentleman; they're too focused on wealth instead. My birthday wish for this year, as I hope and contemplate, Would enable me to find and be with, my true soul mate.

On your joyful wedding day, You begin a brand new life. Friends and family give their gifts To joyful husband, blissful wife. But the greatest gift you'll ever get, A gift from heaven above, Is love forever, ending never, Everlasting love. You'll share life's joy and pleasure; You'll have plenty of that, it's true. But love is the real treasure For your new spouse and you. And if life hands you challenges, As it does to one and all, Your love will hold you steady And never let you fall. You wedding day is full of joy; Tomorrow you cannot see. But one thing's sure for the two of you: The best is yet to be.

Today is your birthday and you're six years old, I hope you'll be good and do as you're told, We're going down town for your birthday surprise, When we get to the shop, then please close you're eyes. Excited and pleased and jumping for joy, Cause I'm going down town with my mum for a toy, We're now at the shop, so please close your eyes, And I'll have a look round for your Birthday surprise. Open your eyes, I've got just the thing, In a large cardboard box and tied up with string, What is it mum? is it really for me, Wait till you're home and then you will see. Let's hurry home, I can't wait anymore, To open the box and see what's in store, Please cut the string, the box is tied up, Oh! what have we here, a cute little pup. Aaaah isn't he sweet with lovely blue eyes, Thankyou mum for my birthday surprise, He's the best gift I've had, the best gift I've got, I think I shall call him my best friend Spot.

Mother Sad

I often contemplate my childhood, Mom. I am a mother now, and so I know Hard work is mixed together with the fun; You learned that when you raised me long ago. I think of all the things you gave to me: Sacrifice, devotion, love and tears, Your heart, your mind, your energy and soul-- All these you spent on me throughout the years. You loved me with a never-failing love You gave me strength and sweet security, And then you did the hardest thing of all: You let me separate and set me free. Every day, I try my best to be A mother like the mom you were to me.

Yesterday's goals, dim memories. Dark saddened eyes, blurring with tears. Painful scars borne; Love's history. Futures crumble when doubt appears. No brightly lit hope envisioned, When following after harsh words. Hurt soul splits in twain, partitioned. Swooned by appeal - when numbness lured. Apologies made, never bought. Price paid turned out far too costly. Though never known what would be wrought - Must walk into the night softly. One wish, only to be released. Granted - now receive this token. Words written in rhyme, love's deceased. When promises made . . . were broken.

A Mother's love is something that no on can explain, It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain, It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may For nothing can destroy it or take that love away . . . It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking, And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking . . . It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns, And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems . . . It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation, And it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation . . . A many splendoured miracle man cannot understand And another wondrous evidence of God's tender guiding hand.

Wandering in darkness grope, Finding not a glimpse of hope. Fingers touch to find my way, Each foot fall, my heart betrays The fear which drives me through the day. Suddenly the ground is lost, Flailing arms as body's tossed. Splashing down in crimson pool, The warm embrace is much too cruel, I curse this lowly, wretched fool. Floundering in this self made hell, Warmth increasing as I dwell, Within the confines I create, Screaming as myself berate, Giving in to this, my fate.
